Fashion Forecasting
This is a collection of the work I completed in Fashion Forecasting. We used external resources to develop an all-encompassing personal fashion forecast, as well as using all of the skills we collected throughout the semester to create a final group forecast. We had a couple of smaller group assignments as well, which both tested our ability to work in groups as well as letting us use the knowledge we were accumulating throughout the class.
This is my personal fashion forecast. It is based on Fall 2024, with a major focus on slower and more sustainable fashion and a rejection of the current trends of overconsumption and maximalist fashion. It aims to build an environment of peace and simplicity, a welcome break from the noise and chaos of the world today.
This is a group forecast I did with 5 of my classmates. We had a prompt of "Hero vs Villain" and had to develop a color and theme forecast based off our prompt before presenting it the following week. This activity was a lot of fun because we had to be creative and use what we had learned to come up with a forecast based on a random prompt.
This is a group forecast I did with 4 of my classmates. WE had to choose an influencer and assess their fashion, who they influence, and how they could do better or expand their current fashion or influence. My group chose Jenna Ortega, the famous Wednesday actress, to evaluate.
We chose Jenna Ortega for our influencer. We had to collect five of her signature looks to show her current style that she's known for, so we chose to pull from her mixture of 90's inspired streetwear and her more current romantic outfits.
We needed to come up with two outfit suggestions for our influencer, to help expand her current wardrobe and looks without compromising her signature style. Our outfit suggestions fall more on the mature and chic side, without getting rid of her streetwear and romantic tones that she keeps in her outfits.

This is the final group project for Fashion Forecasting. In this presentation, we had to create an entirely new fashion forecast for at least a year in the future. My 4 teammates and I chose the overarching theme of "Maladaptive Daydreaming", and pulled heavily from the theme of escapism and creating a new, better reality.
